Introducing Claude and Eustace

Well, you just try taking a decent photo of wriggly squirming pusscats!
Thank you everyone for your fabulous suggestions for names. It's been an interesting task giving a pair of almost identical kittens monikers that will do well for adult cats. The only difference I can tell at the moment is that one has blue eyes and the other green; but most moggies' blue eyes change as they get a little older, so I'm just going to have to learn to distinguish other features and personality traits.
Claude and Eustace it is then, the twin cousins of Bertie Wooster who turned up far too early in the mornings, perched on Bertie's bed and nicked his breakfast. Trouble was their magnet. Sounds about right. Blue eyes is Claude, green eyes is Eustace (front).

Claude and Eustace.

Have you put their names down for Eton yet? Much more of this and those waifs and strays will be getting ideas above their stations.

Only the best Garfer, only the best.

I'd forgotten how utterly charming kittens are, F'pot, and it's the first time I've had 2 from the same litter - they are a hoot.

They are perfect Jay, and Paula, you can stroke, but you can't nick!

They are very sweet. I hope you don't have to rename them Clawed and Useless!

Too late WW - that's already happened!

They are gorgeous. Hope you don't get clawed too much by Claude!

Perfect names! They remind me of my two rescue tabbies (also twin brothers) when they were kittens, eight years ago. So much so that I've blogged about them today and included a link right back to Claude and Eustace . . .

Hope they have a long and happy life. (Growing up alongside Mopsa how could they fail?)

I love Jeeves and Bertie Wooster, but surely your kitties will be brighter than Bertie's cousins! Sad about your old cat. Mine, Malcolm, is sixteen. Every time I see him curled on the floor and don't hear snoring, I call his name, I'm so afraid he might be gone. He always meows back. He's been in good health so far....The two younger ones will never take his place. They are too silly and don't take their job as companions seriously enough. If we had mice, though, they would definitely be on the job.
